BIOBREYER<\/strong> is a company dedicated to the R&D of biotechnological processes in several areas: pharmaceutical, cosmetic, diagnostic and agriculture.<\/p>\n

In the pharmaceutical area, our flagship is the development of a new generation of the biopharmaceutical asparaginase. Asparaginase is used in the treatment of leukemias, especially in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia that affects children and adolescents around the world. Our biopharmaceutical under development has fewer adverse effects, possibly providing greater efficiency in patient treatment and improvement in their quality of life.<\/p>\n

Regarding the cosmetics area, we used metabolic engineering technology to develop the first yeast in the world to produce hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a biopolymer widely used in the formulation of cosmetics, food supplements and in medical applications. Our technology provides the production of high quality, vegan and cruelty free hyaluronic acid.<\/p>\n

In the diagnostic area, we develop molecular biology enzymes with different applications and 100% national. Using these enzymes, we produce diagnostic kits with RT-LAMP technology that can be customized for a wide variety of diseases.<\/p>\n

One of the fuels that drives BIOBREYER<\/strong> is sustainability. We believe that the future of the planet lies in improving our processes. Then we have developed several microbiological solutions for sustainable agriculture. We have a bank of more than 100 bacteria with high agronomic efficiency and we have already developed several products for agriculture, such as inoculants, biofungicides and bioinsecticides. In addition, we provide consultancy for the assembly of your biofactory from the layout of the plant, purchase of equipment, selection of raw materials suppliers and development of products and formulas.<\/p>\n

The company's next step is to expand to an industrial scale through the construction of a biofactory with a structure for the production of agricultural bioinputs and raw materials for medicines, cosmetics and molecular biology.<\/p>\n

A asparaginase \u00e9 utilizada no tratamento de leucemias, em especial leucemia linfoide aguda em crian\u00e7as e adolescentes. Nossa proposta \u00e9 desenvolver uma asparaginase que apresenta menos efeitos adversos, o que proporciona uma maior efici\u00eancia no tratamento e uma melhora na qualidade de vida do paciente. Nosso produto \u00e9 resultado da pesquisa desenvolvida na Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias Farmac\u00eauticas da USP e no Instituto de Bioci\u00eancias da UNESP por grupos com ampla experi\u00eancia em pesquisa e desenvolvimento de biomol\u00e9culas.
